Why it matters

Problem

In Shymkent, there is an increase in the number of children with autism spectrum disorders, but parents face a lack of accessible information about early signs of autism, lack of early diagnosis, and qualified help. Families often remain alone with the problem, experiencing social isolation and a lack of psychological support. Existing services are fragmented, and parents do not know where to turn and how to act in the early stages.

What we offer

Solution

Creating an early help center and a network of support groups for parents. The project includes: informational meetings and training seminars for parents on early signs of autism and interaction methods; organizing regular mutual support groups where parents can share experiences and receive emotional support; developing a help roadmap for families (diagnosis, classes, consultations); involving specialized specialists (psychologists, defectologists, speech therapists) for consultations; creating a community of volunteers and partners to support families.
