Kazakh language clubs for children
Free Kazakh language clubs for children from Russian-speaking families in Kostanay and border regions of Kazakhstan.
Who this project helps
Location: Kostanay, Kazakhstan
Problem
In the border regions of Kazakhstan, including Kostanay, many children from Russian-speaking families lack sufficient language practice and motivation to learn Kazakh. This limits their future opportunities: when entering universities, finding employment, and fully participating in the life of the country. Existing courses are often paid or not adapted for a children's audience.
Solution
Creating a network of free children's Kazakh language clubs where learning takes place in a playful format using interactive methods, national games, songs, and cartoons. The classes are led by experienced volunteer teachers, and the program takes into account the age characteristics of children and their initial level of training.
How to participate
Participation in the project is free for children and volunteers. Financial support is not provided.
