Who this project helps
Location: Aktobe, Kazakhstan
Problem
Labor veterans and their families in Aktobe often face a lack of information about entitled benefits, difficulties in processing documents, and legal illiteracy. Many elderly people cannot independently protect their rights, receive due payments, or apply for subsidies, which leads to a deterioration in their financial situation and social isolation.
Solution
Creation of a city initiative uniting lawyers, social workers, and volunteers to provide free assistance to labor veterans. We organize regular legal consultations, help with document processing, accompany veterans in government agencies, and conduct informational meetings about rights and benefits. Targeted assistance to veterans' families in solving everyday and social issues is also planned.
How to participate
Participation in the initiative is free. We invite volunteers and partners ready to help labor veterans.
